this week we have been trying new strategies to work out our maths. this week we have been trying to do rounding and compensating to find out the answer and to show our working out.

This week for Te Reo we had to create our own book using our kupu hou words.  The sentence structure we followed was He ______ tēnei.  This is a ______.  We also had to record ourselves and find an image to match.  Here is my book.

Math - Square roots and square numbers.

This week I focused square numbers and square roots.  I got another score of 31 out of 31 but I forgot to screenshot it...or I just can't find it.  I'm pretty confident now with what square numbers are and how to calculate square roots.
